FOXER BIO
They say certain strength is built in the face of adversity and you can look no further than UK rock band Foxer as evidence for such claim. The past two years have been on the tempestuous side for the Portsmouth based trio but now they are back with a new single which basks in fresh vigour and adventure as it demands attention.
After six years building a potent reputation and fan base with their richly flavoured rock sound, Foxer found 2019 a formidable adversary. To date the band had seen their tracks and self-titled debut EP eagerly supported on countless radio shows and stations whilst live they had similarly earned eager plaudits whilst sharing stages with the likes of Brant Bjork and Loading Data as well as being invited to play Victorious Festival each year. Then last year stepped forward and, mid-preparation for a debut album, the sudden departure of two thirds of the band left Foxer founder Chris Peace to contemplate the future.
Agonising and taking stock over many months, the vocalist/guitarist rose up in resolve and defiance, and calling on friends, unveiled the first track from upcoming first full-length, ‘The Throwaways’. Swiftly acclaimed, ‘Don’t Leave a Scar’ unveiled a new maturity and invention in the band’s sound as well as certain energy in its breath even as the song emotionally and melodically prowled ears. Equally it saw Foxer embracing a richer vein of variety in their rock fuelled sound with seeds in the likes of alternative, blues, and grunge rock and a keen strength of temptation which refused to be ignored.
As for all, 2020 again took a grip of lives and endeavours but Foxer again has refused to be chained down and with a new stable line-up of drummer Sean Kenneally and former Foxer Guitarist Roy Ludford returning on bass alongside Chris, they are ready to escalate intrigue and anticipation for that debut album with new single ‘The Cult Of Perfection’. The song is a short rousing slice of adrenaline fuelled rock ‘n’ roll, its riffs a hungry manipulation and chorus an anthemic contagion loaded call on one’s inner instinct to roar.
Engineered and produced by Tom Wells from Fast Trains, arranged by Lo from Patrón/Loading Data, and mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, Eleven) with mastering by Dave Collins, ‘The Cult Of Perfection’ has the richest recipe for temptation and with Chris’ songwriting breaching new imagination amidst the band’s individual prowess, it announces Foxer back with a mighty declaration.
With ‘The Throwaways’ waiting to stir up the UK rock scene, indeed greater strength and creativity is nurtured in the arms of tribulation and it features Foxer as its affirmation.

SHOP FRONT HEROES
“An intelligent bombardment”
Adam Walton – BBC Introducing Wales
Press Release
Band: Shop Front Heroes
Track: You Can’t Decide Who Makes Your Heart Beat
Faster
Label: Self Released
Release Date: 25th September 2020
The Track
‘You Can’t Decide Who Makes Your Heart Beat Faster’ is a song about how
easy it is to be beguiled into feeling something for someone unexpected.
In this case, it’s someone that deep down you know isn’t going to be good
for you. It’s a path you now blindly run down, knowing full well that at any
moment you’ll fall through the leaf trap and into a pit of snakes… but you
keep blindly thrashing and running forward, eyes closed, because that’s
what your heart screams at you to do.
You Can’t Decide Who Makes Your Heart Beat Faster was the song that
became the catalyst to form Shop Front Heroes.
“It was where it all started. I had inadvertently found my muse and my
song writing seemed to explode after penning this track. It started an
avalanche, tracking my fall on a weird, hopeful, tragic fantasy that was
never going to materialise. We’ve all been there in one way or another and
if you haven’t, I envy you.” – Stevie Yeomans, Lead Singer
With a change of pace from previous releases, its performance exudes
catharsis, honesty and integrity. All of which are the cornerstones of Shop
Front Heroes art and motivation.
Shop Front Heroes third single “You Can’t Decide Who Makes Your Heart
Beat Faster” was recorded at Invada Studios Bristol and is available on all
digital outlets from the 25th September 2020.
The Band
Shop Front Heroes are a five-piece, original rock band described as an
“intelligent bombardment” by Adam Walton, BBC Radio Wales. Their style
hits you with elements of rock, pop, classic rock and alternative indie, with
a taste for the epic and grandiose.
Think hooky songs delivered with integrity and passion, vocals with huge
range, power and diversity, glorious three-part harmonies, perfectly
balanced lead and rhythm guitars that give you everything you want from
a rock band, and a rhythm section as tight as a tourniquet. Shop Front
Heroes state their intentions the same way as they play and write their
songs: With passion, honesty and a desire to be heard. #SavingBritishRock
The band are: Stevie Yeomans (Lead Vocals and Piano), Jake Owen (Lead
Guitar), Matt Whitehouse (Drums), and Stuart Hill (Bass) Tom
Jaques (Guitar and Vocals)
Lyrics
You can’t decide who makes your heart beat faster
You can’t control who makes you fall over backwards
The world stops outside
As I count the butterflies
You don’t understand why you feel sick but you like it
You don’t know why you are constantly reminded
The world stops outside
As I count the butterflies
She makes me smile a crooked smile
She rocks my world she blows my mind
She’s gonna get me in my prime
If she makes the otherside
You can’t quite believe that she’s reciprocated
You can’t help dream of her and wonder if she’ll make it
You can’t move because you’d hate to miss a sentence
You conceive that you can never get complacent
The world stops outside
As I count the butterflies
She makes me smile a crooked smile
She rocks my world she blows my mind
She’s gonna get me in my prime
If she makes the otherside.
She makes me smile a crooked smile
She rocks my world she blows my mind
She’s gonna get me in my prime
If she makes the otherside.
You can’t decide who makes your heart beat faster

THE DEAD DAISIES
BIO – AUGUST 2020
Rock’n’Roll is a trip, not a destination…we all know how the saying goes!
The Dead Daisies continue their journey towards 2021 with new music, virtual performances and adventures.
The Dead Daisies have gone from strength to strength since the release of their self-titled album in 2013. They have released four studio, one live and one covers album to a growing army of fans worldwide and are praised by the global media in an era where Rock has been declared dead time and time again.
The band’s DNA includes an amazing collective of players that includes John Corabi, Marco Mendoza, Richard Fortus, Dizzy Reed, Frank Ferrer, Darryl Jones, Tommy Clufetos, Charley Drayton and Jon Stevens amongst others. They’ve also shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Rock including Kiss, Guns N‘ Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith, Bad Company, Whitesnake, ZZ Top and the Hollywood Vampires.
The Daisies have started the next chapter welcoming new band member Glenn Hughes. Also known as “The Voice Of Rock“, Glenn has taken over lead vocals and bass guitar, joining guitarists Doug Aldrich, David Lowy and drummer Deen Castronovo.
With the addition of Glenn Hughes, The Daisies supercharge their front line through his rock solid bass grooves and unmatched vocal intensity. As all fans know, the man is a true original, inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, with a rich history of music that features heavy weights like Deep Purple and Black Country Communion as well as a successful solo career. One might say: “They don’t build rockers like him anymore”.
Followers can expect more High-Voltage Rock songs, indomitable grooves and spellbinding lyrics, all the ingredients that have made this music so timeless, out-living trends of the modern day. The sound of The Dead Daisies is entrenched in the Hard Rock way of life we all love but as a living, breathing rock band, they are constantly evolving & bringing new dynamics to a classic style.
They’ve conducted multiple headline tours throughout Europe, Japan, South & North America and conquered some of the worlds most prestigious festivals such as Download, Wacken, Graspop, Sweden Rock as well as Woodstock Poland, where they played the notable Concert for Peace with a 60-piece orchestra in front of over 300,000 people in 2017. Significantly, they were the first American Rock band welcomed back to Cuba after the embargo was lifted in 2015.
It’s the uplifting experience of a live show that makes Rock music so encompassing and where The Dead Daisies always deliver. Their concerts are known for creating a special connection between the players and their audience, giving life to each other, singing, screaming and relishing in the moment!!!
The upcoming album ‘Holy Ground’, was recorded by Producer Ben Grosse at La Fabrique Studio in the South of France and due for release early in 2021. The first single ‘Unspoken’ was released in April 2020 with the song continuing to receive global media praise, accolades and has definitely broken the silence!
In July, The Lockdown Sessions EP was released with four stripped back semi-acoustic tracks, ‘Unspoken’, ‘Fortunate Son’ with Deen on lead vocals, ‘Righteous Days’ and an amazing version of the Humble Pie classic, ’30 Days In The Hole’ with Glenn and Doug.
The Daisies will kick off 2021 with a series of shows throughout Europe on the “Get Out Of The House Tour” followed by dates yet to be announced in the UK, Japan, US and Australia. June/July will see the band playing with Foreigner, Judas Priest and at numerous summer Festivals.
The Dead Daisies are pushing forward, giving energy and taking chances to ensure that every person who experiences them has no doubt that Rock is Indeed Alive & Well and here to stay.
So turn it up, come to a show; enjoy the ride & ROCK with us.
